چکیده

In this study, the influence of cutting parameters and machining time on tool wear surface roughness was investigated in high-speed milling process Al6061 using face carbide inserts. Taguchi experimental matrix (L9) chosen to design conduct research with three input (feed rate, speed, axial depth cut). Tool (VB) (Ra) after different strokes (after 10, 30, 50 strokes) were selected as output parameters. almost cases process, most significant factor that influenced speed (84.94 % 10 strokes, 52.13 30 68.58 strokes), factors cut feed rate (70.54 43.28 30.97 for cut. And 22.01 44.39 66.58 rate). Linear regression suitable VB Ra determination coefficients (R2) from 88.00 91.99 VB, 90.24 96.84 Ra. These models successfully verified by comparison between predicted measured results Besides, relationship Ra, also evaluated. wear, models, their found study can be used improve quality reduce aluminum alloy

Study on tool wear and surface roughness in end milling of particulate aluminum metal matrix composite: Application of response surface methodology

Metal matrix composites have been widely used in industries, especially aerospace industries, due to their excellent engineering properties. However, it is difficult to machine them because of the hardness and abrasive nature of reinforcement elements like silicon carbide particles (SiCp).In the present study, an attempt has been made to investigate the influence of spindle speed (N), feed rate...

Analysis of Surface Roughness and Micro-hardness in Roller Burnishing of Aluminum Alloy 6061

Burnishing is a chip-less finishing process, in which a hard roller or ball presses the surface layer of part to perform plastic deformation in the surface layer and produce improved finish, enhanced hardness and compressive residual stresses on the surface of special materials such as Aluminum and Brass. In the following research, the effect of input parameters such as feed rate, cutting speed...
